Kerosene for lamp, also known as a paraffin lamp, liquid paraffin, illuminating paraffin and lamp oil, is a combustible hydrocarbon liquid which is derived from petroleum.
Kerosene in addition used as a fuel in equipment for cutting metals and in domestic heating appliances, as a solvent in the production of films and varnishes, in impregnating leather and washing parts in electrical repair and mechanical workshops.
