PACKAGING, TRANSPORTATION, AND STORAGE:
- Treated with conditioning agents to preserve its properties
- Shipped in bulk pre-packaged in big bags or in covered self-unloading hoppers
- Transported by any means of transportation in accordance with applicable cargo transportation rules
- Bulk urea is also transported in covered decked sea vessels or in specially equipped road vehicles with the cargo covered in the body. Specialized flexible universal urea containers may be transported by road without any cover.
- Stored indoors in well-ventilated warehouses to protect it from weather exposure.
- Urea containers and bags may be stored outdoors. In the case of bulk storage, urea must not mix with any other fertilizers.
