Aluminium powder

Aluminum nanopowder coated by copolymer is manufactured by dispersion of metallic wire in argon and coated by copolymer CH2 = CF2 and CF3-CF= CF3 for the purpose of passivation. Material composition:

- aluminum: 90-92%
- copolymer: 10-8%
Appearance and color: gray heavily agglomerated powder
Average particle: 50-70 nm and 90-100 nm
Bulk density: 0,4 g/cm3
BET surface area: 12 m2/g
Melting point: 640°C

Water: The powder does NOT react with water if not heated up to the boiling point.

Stability: Powder is stable in dry air if heated to 80°C

Ignition point: 300°C. Ignites in air if exposed to open fire.
